Dear Vintec Club Members,
We're delighted to invite you to a series of Vintec Club Private Tastings to discover one of Australia's most iconic wineries: Yarra Yering. Founded by Dr Bailey Carrodus in 1969, the low-yielding, unirrigated vineyards have always produced wines of extraordinary depth and density. We're honoured to have winemaker Sarah Crowe as our host for these 4 dinners. Sarah has faithfully pursued Dr Carrodus legacy, giving individual blocks and varieties the time and attention they deserve to continue making high-quality wine (think distinct Dry Red No. 1 / Red No. 2 among others). Her exceptional talent was recognised by her being named James Halliday Winemaker of the Year 2017 and Yarra Yering being frequently named among the top Yarra Valley wineries.
