Discover the Vina Aquitania Winery:
The terroir of Viña Aquitania is characterised by a poor, well-drained soil which allows roots to grow deep, and a microclimate which allows for excellent exposure to sunlight, warm days, cool nights and no rainfall during ripening and harvesting.
Irrigation during the development of the grapes can be strictly controlled. The vines are planted in 18 hectares -45 acres- in rows running from North to South, on a slope in an East/West direction, at an altitude ranging from 675 to 721 metres above sea level. The vines are cordon trained at a density of 1.700 vines per acre.
Due to the absence of Phylloxera, the vines are ungrafted, and spraying against diseases is limited solely to the use of sulphur.
Members of the Vintec Club have exclusive access to unique wine experiences and intimate dinners in the company of celebrated winemakers from around the world. In family-like and relaxed atmospheres, the Vintec Club Private Tastings are an opportunity to share with our members our passion for well-aged wines. These private events are notably subsidized by the Vintec Club in order to bring our members exceptional wine tastings and dinners at nominal ticket prices. Not attended an event yet? View Videos
